Victory!

Time: 1.40am
Super tired so shall keep this post short and sweet.

Was reading LS daily devotion and today is on Joshua 9 - 11. A couple of verses just caught my attention.

' "Do not be afraid of them," the Lord said to Joshua, "for I will give you victory over them. Not a single one of them will be able to stand up to you." '

- Joshua 10:8

You see, everytime before a nation went into war with the other nations, the Lord will definitely speak to the leader of the nation to affirm him of the victory that He has already planned before we know it.

"In a single campaign Joshua conquered all these kings and their land, for the Lord, the God of Israel, was fighting for his people."

- Joshua 10:42

Yes! The God of Israel, the Lord in our life, our God is fighting for us in the season of victory. Even though many spiritual attacks had already begun, even though many of the times we may feel defeated in this season of victory, always know that our Almighty One is fighting for us and not us who is fighting the battles alone. :)

Continue to hold on to God and do not lose the battles. Amen! :)

Who Am I - Casting Crowns

Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
Vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours

Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
Vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
Vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours

I am Yours
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
'Cause I am Yours
I am Yours

Hey yo

Since quite some times i din post liao... hahha..busy busy MAN i am hehhee...anyway, was busy with tons of assignments pilling up my room... but thx God for His grace that i managed to submit one assignment after another before their individual dateline and one more to go due this thurs hehhee...

Beside assignments, was busy training up with my soccer kakis at hall for a soccer tournament and we played our first match yesterday and won 4 - 2 hahaha... but the most amazing thing is not about the win or the scoreline... the most amazing thing is immediately after the match, just felt the presence of God on the field... u see, our God is a God of surprise and I din expect to experience His presence over there...

After the game, was shaking hands with my opponents and was looking at their facial expression and clearly they are sad about losing (i mean who dun... hehehe) and then the phase "compassion of the heart" came into my mind... God always teach us about compassion... compassion of the lost and needy etc... and indeed after the match... compassion for them... and then the whole good feeling about winning the game just gone and in came the compassionate feeling for them...

Maybe God is teaching me something here... and surely I will pray and ask Him... :)
